June 13 - London/Dover

For centuries, Dover has been a symbol of England's royal fortitude. The port's legendary White Cliffs have long been a welcomed landmark for seafaring travelers. The solid Dover Castle has faced invasions by Roman, French and even English troops. London's legendary sights, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, Whitehall and the fashionable West End, lie just 80 miles from historic Dover.

June 15 - Bergen, Norway

8 AM to 6 PM

A UNESCO World Heritage City treasure and a European Capital of Culture, beguiling Bergen is surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest. In its heyday, Norwegian Kings resided here, and there were no less than 27 churches and abbeys. An immaculate city, locals take great pride in their rich seafaring history and hold firm to traditional values.

June 16 - Cruising the Norwegian Fjords; Hellesylt/Geiranger, Norway

7 AM to 9 AM (Hellesylt)

Geiranger village is located along the picturesque snow-covered Geirangerfjord in central Norway. One of the most dazzling of all Norwegian fjords, the Geiranger has been visited by touring ships for more than 100 years. One of the highlights of the fjordland, tiny Hellesylt lies at the head of Sunnylvenfjord. Near the village, a glacier-fed stream plunges over the sheer granite face of the fjord, cascading in thousands of feet of rainbows and foam.

10 AM to 6 PM (Geiranger)

Quite possibly one of the world’s grandest displays of natural beauty, snow-covered Geirangerfjord beckons adventurists of all walks. Geiranger village is located along dazzling waterway, a bustling town of activity and small-town energy that holds a charming contrast to the tranquility found in the surrounding mountains, waterfalls and farms on the fjord itself.

June 17 - Cruising the Norwegian Sea

June 18 - Å I Lofoten / Gravdal, Norway

7:30 AM to 8:30 AM (Å I Lofoten)

Pronounced “aw” – Å means small stream in Old Norse – a single-letter title suggesting a long maritime history as well as some confusion as there are at least seven Norwegian villages named Å, hence the “i Lofoten” to clarify “in Lofoten.” Inspiring another kind of “awe” are whales often breaching offshore, nearby reefs home to Norway’s largest bird nesting sanctuary. The island’s rich fishing history is chronicled at museums, and its famous stockfish is easily enjoyed at local eateries.

10 AM to 6 PM (Gravdal)

Situated above the Arctic Circle in the center of the Lofoten archipelago, Gravdal’s breathtaking scenery, highlighted by glacier-carved mountains and indigo waters, embraces colorful wooden buildings typical of Norway. Especially dramatic against the blue sky is the red wooden tower of the Buksnes Church, built in 1905, which showcases an architectural style popular in Scandinavia in the early 20th century characterized by steep roofs, large eaves and Norse motifs such as serpents and dragons.

June 19 - Tromsø, Norway

8 AM to 7 PM

Long renowned as an important center of science and exploration, Tromsø lies on a forest-covered island in a narrow waterway, hemmed in by steep mountains and connected to the mainland by a bridge. The imaginative Arctic Cathedral, the Polaria Centre and a scenic cable car ride are among its varied attractions.

June 20 - Cruising the North Cape / Honningsvåg, Norway

9 AM to 10 PM

The northernmost town in Europe, Honningsvåg embodies the natural majesty of Norway, presenting a sprawling natural landscape of Arctic adventure. Quaint fishing villages set along spectacular fjords offer delectable seafood, with quests for king crab on the “can’t miss” list. Within reach are the North Cape and magical Magerøy Island, as well as endless opportunities for rugged exploration in any direction from town center.

June 22 - Cruising the Norwegian Sea

June 23 - Flåm, Norway

6:30 AM to 6 PM

Boasting dramatic nature and a serene atmosphere, the tiny village of Flåm is situated in the innermost part of the Sognefjord and surrounded by breathtaking mountains. From this tranquil area, one of the world's most remarkably engineered railway lines originates and winds its way far above the sea, providing views of some of Norway's wildest and most magnificent scenery. At the foot of the mountains, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Flåm Valley and admire the majestic Aurlandfjord.

June 24 - Stavanger, Norway

8AM to 5PM

A one-time European Capital of Culture, Stavanger is home to beautiful fjords – among them the Lysefjord – Sola Beach and the famed “Preikestolen” (the Pulpit Rock) – a striking viewing platform named best in the world by Lonely Planet. The city has a deep maritime history – from Viking battles in Hafrsfjord to the modern super tankers of today. As a result of its prime location, Stavanger is considered the most important oil city in Norway.
