Tucked away in the northern Aegean Sea, Limnos is considered one of the best-kept secrets in the Greek Isles. It features crowdless, cobblestone lanes lined with neoclassical architecture and restaurants, as well as a marina with plentiful seafood tavernas. The 13th- century Venetian castle sits atop the capital’s highest peak and is well worth the walk for the stunning sea views alone.

Meander through the ruins of ancient Ephesus and marvel at the famed Library of Celsus, the huge amphitheater, the marble roads with their chariot marks, the amazing mosaic sidewalks and the superb, rarely opened Terrace Houses. Or journey to three monumental cities of antiquity - Priene, Miletus and Didyma. Not interested in antiquity? Wander through Kusadasi's many alleyways of baazars and cafes.  Always a crowd pleaser!

June 6 - Monemvasia, Greece 7 AM to 3 PM

A magical Byzantine castle town known as the "Gibraltar of the East".  Despite Greece’s status as a prime travel destination, tourism has yet to spoil this ancient area that is steeped in history and offers a complete escape from the modern world. One of the most famous ancient villages in Greece, Monemvasia has charming, narrow streets that can only be traversed by foot or by donkey.

June 7 - Argostoli (Cepholonia), Greece  7 AM to 3 PM

This capital of the island of Cephalonia resides in a sheltered bay along Koutavos Lagoon, where you might catch a glimpse of a loggerhead turtle. The stone obelisk of the Drapano Bridge and the Lighthouse of Saint Theodore are two of the island's distinctive landmarks. Discover relics from the Mycenaean, Hellenistic and Roman periods in the city's archaeological museum.​

Or enjoy the day by the pristine sea...Korcula's best sand beach is Banje; Luka Korculanska beach attracts those who prefer pebbles.
